Flood Control?

Hey Rockstars! So when i was about to post the cat adoption post, it said that the frorum is active on "Flood Control" and that to wait 5 secs to post it again. If anybody knows what flood control means please pm me or reply with a answer on this post. Thank you!

I've never heard of it but it sounds like "control and making sure there isn't too much coming at once." btw there are two copies of the cat adoption center

flood control is something on all forumotion forums, as far as i've seen. basically, you can't make a new post or edit your post within one minute of your last post. it keeps the forum from having too many new posts at once. idk if you can disable it /:

I already checked and tried to turn it off, unfortunately, the minimum is 10 seconds, and i cant make it any lower than that, or completely turn it off :/ sorry guys
