Whats been going on lately.....

Hey guys. Some people have noticed that I'm not the same lately. Well, I'm really depressed atm. With school, cyber and real life bullying, and other stuff I feel useless. I've been getting called names like stupid and ugly and I've been getting cyber bullied like getting threated. Also, I feel like im not treated fairly and I feel like dirt. Just please do me a favor and be soft on me for awhile... Thanks.

Well, I think I'm depressed bc I'm always grumpy, and sad, so yeah!

Aww :( Its Okay Sophie, your really nice and one of my greatest friends!!!!! Hope you feel better and your aren't stupid and ugly in my eyes. I don't think you deserve to be treated like that from cyber bullies.

People who cyber bully don't think good of themselves so they bully other people to make them feel better.

but just because you're sad at a moment, it doesn't mean you're depressed<3 everyone is sad sometimes, and depression is actually a psychological disorder, and it shouldn't be taken lightly. I understand why you would post that, so you can 'relate' with sophie and so she doesnt feel alone, but because you're sad doesn't mean you're depressed<33

I'm really sorry to hear dat this shizzle has been happening to you <3 but just so you know, cyber bullies are anonymous cowards who have nothing better to do with their life. they think that putting other people down will make them stronger, but really, they're just insecure about themselves and have nothing better to do w their time <3 and bullies in real life also have nothing better to do with their time, and they're just plain wrong. if they think that bringing you down will make them somehow better, than it's THEM who has the problem, not you <3 the next time he/she bullies you, just ask them: "is it really going to matter how cool you were in the 4th/5th (i think ur in 5th? idk sry) grade when we're trying to get JOBS AND BE SUCCESSFUL??"

and Sophie you're definitely NOT stupid. c'mon. you created this amazing forum! i defs couldnt make one this good. if it weren't for u i wouldn't have met all dese kewl peeps B) including you. and you're DEFS not ugly. everyone is beautiful, even if some people don't see it. everyone is someone to someone <3

sorry if this is weird bcuz we're not close but i just felt like dat needed to be said bcuz I've had experience w/ being bullied and I know how hellish it can be

sophie i'm so sorry you feel this way!! being depressed or even just feeling alone/sad is the pits, and i know how bad it feels. if cyberbullying is really bothering you, then maybe you should take a break from the Internet for some time. or at least, ignore those rude people. think of it this way: you'll most likely never meet them in real life, so why should their opinions matter? you're better than them, and they don't deserve even the slightest bit of your attention.

also, going back to what i said earlier, going on the Internet so much everyday probably isn't making your situation better. it's so easy to compare yourself to others and feel bad about yourself on the Internet, so taking a break and going outside will make you feel much better, i guarantee it. i always feel better after going running for a couple miles, so that's one strategy.

if not, there's a lot more things you can do to feel better like drawing, learning/playing an instrument, or venting your feelings in a poem. as for really life bullying, just do your best to keep your head up and don't let those mean people get to you. remember, the one thing they don't have the power to take from you without your permission is your happiness, so don't let them! if yo keep a positive attitude (but are assertive when you need to be), they should surely respect you more.
