Uhk...ELAs
Hello Moviestar Rockers! So as most of us are ten, eleven, and twelve, I believe we all have to take the ELAs (English Language Arts.) This thread is to basically discuss how you feel, concerns, your opinion, tips, and give as well as get help. I do have a few tips and tricks up my sleeve if you're interested. If you have previously taken the ELAs, we would love your input.
As we all know, the ELAs are a series of tests for a number of up to three days of testing and using your skills for reading and writing. This includes passages, multiple choice, short response, and essays. If you ask Sophie, I'm my classes best writer. My talent was noticed in first grade, so I can make a huge help for the ELAs. I'm providing a list of tips from myself that should be beneficial. Enjoy!
Tips:
-Get a good night sleep. Consider going to bed a few minutes earlier to feel well-rested and ready for the upcoming test
-Eat a nutritious breakfast. Eating healthy food gives you more energy
-Have all your pencils sharpened. You want your handwriting and pencil to be at best
-Study. If you study, there's a better chance of remembering and getting a better understanding of the concepts
-Put in effort. During practice tests and any prep, pay close attention and work your hardest
-Be calm. Don't push yourself too hard or get stressed, the test reflects on your teacher, not you
-Take your time. Try to pace yourself and use as much time as possible to assure yourself you've done the best you can
-Wear a watch. The watch will help to time your test
-Be positive. Happy vibes will improve your mood and feeling towards the test
I hope I helped you and you've learned some stuff. Peace out! ~Val

"I'm my classes best writer"
*Class' (Aye sorry I'm in a literate mood.)
My state took computerized tests this year called the AMP test. I guess I did pretty well on it; I'm the most advanced writer in my language arts class. Good luck to those who have yet to take them!
